The Long Way Home
Paul Trask was a member of the second largest branch of Mormonism, the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS – now “Community of Christ”) for 19 years. He held RLDS priesthood and positions of leadership for 15 of those years. Through prolonged study and prayer, the Lord graciously led the Trask family out of this cult in 1989. In 1993 Paul earned a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. In 1997 he published, Part Way to Utah: the Forgotten Mormons, which surveys and Biblically analyzes the RLDS church. He also operates Refiner’s Fire Ministries (www.help4rlds.com) as an outreach ministry to those still involved in the RLDS church. Paul is a CPA and financial consultant, and preaches and teaches in his local church.
