If you are a pastor dealing with RLDS or Mormon issues in your congregation or in the larger community, we are here to help you and your people. We have already assisted a number of pastors like yourself in dealing with these issues. We would also like to provide you with the following resources.

  • "Community of Christ" Alert. You may be aware that the RLDS church is changing its public name to "Community of Christ" effective April 6, 2001. Click here to view our alert about this name change. You can print the page out for use as a bulletin insert, church bulletin board poster or for a youth meeting hand-out.

  • Books and Tracts. We have books and tracts which will help you and your people understand the Latter Day Saint or Restoration Branch churches. Both of our books have chapters on ministering to those currently involved in these churches.

  • Speakers Bureau. We have speakers who would be happy to come to your congregation or group to talk about the Latter Day Saint movement as well as other cults, including New Age. Our speakers always offer a question and answer period, which has proven to be very popular. They are frequently invited back for multiple sessions. While we are in your congregation we can provide information and resources for the congregation to use, and we often establish on-going relationships with those who are directly involved with the Latter Day Saint issue. We invite you to contact us to arrange for a speaker to come to your congregation.

  • Support and Counseling. We can work with you or your people in setting up support groups or one-on-one support for those recovering from personal involvement in a Latter Day Saint church. These people have unique needs which we understand and to which we are very sensitive. Together, we have counseled many people who have left such a church, and over time have seen them move into genuine Christianity and become happy and productive church members. On our testimonies page you can read the stories of several people who have gone through this process. We would love to counsel and support these people in any stage of their process. We invite you to contact us for support and counseling. All requests will be kept in strict confidence.

  • Social Activities. We have social get-togethers from time to time with people who have left a Latter Day Saint church. It's somewhat of a reunion setting, renewing old friendships and making new ones. Our people gain strength and encouragement from these gatherings, and it is a wonderful place to network with others who have a common background. People who have newly left a Latter Day Saint church benefit tremendously from this kind of support. Feel free to contact us to find out about our next event.

  • Prayer Support. We have an active group who meet regularly to pray. We remember friends and loved ones who are still involved in Latter Day Saint churches. We also pray for the unique needs of those who have newly left such a church as well as those who are in the process of leaving. You can send us an e-mail with any prayer requests. Please include your telephone number if you would like us to call you. Please know that all prayer requests are kept in strict confidence.
